when did king pins go out on the 2WD's
An ignorant friend at school is making a big stink about whether or not my 77 f150 2wd has king pins. He says that one of his friends owns a classic 2wd but it has ball joints. Well I know better because I had to replace my king pins twice. (And what a pain in the #$% that was) What I want to know is when did they stop using them?
Also I have heard that chevy only ever used ball joints (2wd of course) was that one of their weak spots or am I mistaken.
I thought it was in the 92 series and they replaced them with ball joints. (Better Ride) (If you want a better ride buy a car)
1977 F150 2wd supercab 400cid RIP
1986 F150 2wd 300cid 3spd w/OD live and kicking
Thanks
