Question rpms bounce 100-150 throughout rev range

i have a 90 bronco with a 302, i recently was having oil pump problems and just finished replacing that when i was done i discovered an exhaust leak and needed to unbolt my headers to fix it but once everything was back in place i started the truck and i noticed my rpm's were bouncing about 100 - 150 throughout the rev range, it almost feels like the truck is suffocating but i can't see where the problem could be, if anyone has any idea your feedback would be appreciated, thanks

If it does it at idol it might be your throttle positioning sensor. That bouncing is what is called hunting for idol in my neck of the woods. Check to see what codes the computer has for you
