The Mounds is an off road park in Gennessee county run by the DNR. Its been there for as long as I can remember. Not sure if you know where the genesee county fair grounds are but its directly across the street.

heres a link. http://www.geneseecountyparks.org/mounds.htm

every year there is a thanksgiving day bash that brings many, many trucks in oon trailers. lots of fun.. even if you just wanta come watch.

here is link from my buddy ricks site that shows some ppics of what the mounds has to offer. these are not very good pics though.. there are alot of tuff holes and trails at the mounds.

If i got an extra 20 for gas, you can count me in.

Now I got 1 question.

I was gonna go up there before but didnt have time, and i heard you can grab a "ORV" sticker at meijer. Now in this case:

1. Will there be any 4 wheeling?

2. If so, do i need the sticker?

Cuz If i come ill bring my buddy and he wants to go 4-wheeling (well really 2 wheeling, no lockers) in my truck cuz he just crashed his ranger.

But if i do come we can form a train, i live in Warren, so.. well actually you live in Brighton, so you'll prob take a stright shot up 23, ill take 75.

But anyway, i hope to come.

hey Adam,

four Wheeling.... you bet! Thats all there is there are lots of sippy holes and sloppy trails to play in. Not very many hills but there are a few. some cement to climb on and and a sandy scramble area.
You will need an ORV sticker but you can get them at the store a mile down the road from the Mounds (Party store is on the corner of Genessee and Mt Morris Rd's) youll pass it on the way there.

its a great time, probably see about 100 trucks there.

YES!

Well you can count me in, ill be there at hopefully around 8:30, but have to leave early.

It'll be me and my buddy in the 90 EB Bronco. (Mocha/Tan with black running the bottom where I did some bondo work last year)

What should I bring?

What should I not bring?

What should I be prepared for?

Thanks

Adam

(P.s. if u cant tell this is a 1st timer)

Killer!

Things to bring:
1. Rain gear
2. rubber boots (or water proof chit kickers)
3. Tow rope, if youve got one.
4. Hi-Lift jack, if youve got one.
5. If your rig doesnt have tow hooks, nake sure there is a hitch or some point of attachment.
6. Youl have to have an ORV sticker
7. Full size spare tire
8. If youve got a CB, it helps to locate people.

Other then that... just bring yourself and have a good time.

Things not to bring:
1: you can never be too prepared... bring it all

Thins to be prepared for:
This all depends on how much your willing to bash on your truck. There are lots of mud holes on the trails. most of them have sissy routes around them and not all the holes are deep. There are tight quad trails that can be fun to take a vehicle down if you dont mind trees adding some custom pin stripeing to your paint. Alot of the times I will just sit at the big holes and watch the local hillrods wreck their trucks. That provides enough entertainment for me

if ya run into any problems or want to know more, just give me a buz (810)730-1360

But im sure it'll still be fun

EXACTLY!

I wanna see the Bronco with the 460, no exhaust and 38 swampers ripping stuff up, and ill prob just follow and watch.
