Thanks, Burt

Helm. Inc. would be the source for those and all other ford factory literature. If they are still available, that's where you'll find them. http://www.helminc.com If you just need something looked up, let me know- I have owners, parts, and service manual for 1990 pickups.

90 owners manual

Thanks for the reply Nate.

I checked their web site and they do have a Multi Years "Light Truck Owners Manual" for 90. Cost is $19, which I don't mind spending if it will answer some of my questions.

I have a 90 F150 4X4 Lariat XLT 5.8L E40D EFI 3.55LSD Std Bed. Much of this data was obtained by looking up code numbers from the door (with a lot of help from this board's members).

However, I can't find any reference to HP, TOQ, fuel capacity, coolant capacity, etc. I've seen comments by members on these subjects but they vary (e.g. HP from 190 to 220).

5,8L's had 210hp and 315ft/lbs of torque. If you have dual tanks, you should have a 19 gallon front and I think a 18 gallon rear. I'm not exactly sure about the coolant compacity, but I usually fill the overflow with antifreeze, and use the rest and another gallon of antifreeze in the radiator and finish with distilled water.

You might want to look on eBay. If you can't find it anywhere else, it is typically on eBay.

I got mine on ebay. It is a reprint, and it cost over $100 but it is worth it to me.
