96 F250 Conversion from automatic to 5 speed
To covert from an automatic to a five speed for a 1996 F250 diesel requires changing of the flywheel,(to a double mass flywheel), clutch & hydraulics, brake pedal, bell housing, transmission, and possibly drive shaft. In Addition it will require hanging the clutch pedal, and cutting a hole in the transmission cover in the cab floor.
Are there any consequences for any electronics and if so can they just be disconnected?
Many thanks,
Gwyndaf Jones
