I've got a photo of one in near stock form parked beside the real Bigfoot monster truck, but I can't get it to show up in the post. If you want to make it look like it did when it came new here's a list of what parts to look for.
2" lift kit (I would recommend 4" though, seems to work better for the trucks front suspension)
15"x10" aluminum "bullet hole" rims
32" tires (33's if you go with 4" lift)
Go Rhino chrome double roll bar with light bar and (5) 6" KC Daylighters
Warn Enforcer chrome winch bumper (good luck with this one, they're out of production and hard to find)
Those are the basic parts that were used on these trucks. The only other thing unique to these is the roll-down rear window.

One other note, The motor in the current truck is a 5.0L, they were the only fuel injected V8 motor in '87. I don't know if these came in all the F-150 versions or not. I do know that the F-250 versions came with carburated 460's standard.

Great info, thanks! The seat I believe was not the original, as it rusted and broke after a while, so this grey-ish one was a replacement, probably from a newer truck. It does have the power rear window, but the motor does not work. Anyone know where to find this on the truck, and what to replace it with?

I would think ford would use the same motor as the other power windows. So maybe an OEM window motor would work for the rear window. You'll have to locate it and take it out to compare with the other OEM power window motors.

The reason I wanted to see some stock pics is because it wouldn't be hard to get a point of reference (to use for scale size) and get some sheet metal to re-fabricate the front bumper... I know that would kinda be a pain compaired to buying and bolting one on... But at least it would look like the stock origional.

As far as getting the image to load... I've found the easiest way is to dump them into a www.photobucket.com account and then copy the IMG code they give you and paste it into your post. that way you can keep them all in the same place and they are easy to retrieve and you don't have to down size them. It's also free.

I never thought about comparing to the regular window motor, great idea. I had assumed the larger window required a larger motor, but probably not.

Another great free image hosting site is imageshack.us - they have an easy to use interface, and it's free!

I don't have a photobucket or imageshack page, but might have to look into it. As far as the window motor goes, I don't know if an OEM motor would work or not. You should probably look for a Bronco rear window motor instead of a door glass motor. You've got to remember, Ford didn't build the Bigfoot Cruiser trucks, they were built by a aftermarket "upfitter" company (think Centerion or Southern Coach). I beleive the company was called Scherer Truck Equipment, or something like that. So that means that allot of the parts used weren't OEM Ford parts.
As far as trying to fabricate a front bumper, you can do a Google Image search for "Warn Enforcer Winch Bumper" and it will bring up some pics of the bumper used. If you don't want to fabricate one, a company called Hard Knox Fabworks (add .com and you've got the website) makes a bumper that's real close in style. And they ship them bare so you can have it chromed, powdercoated, painted, or even spray-on bedlinered. I would go chrome myself, or powdercoated chrome.

Oh and if your interested in seeing the pic of the truck, PM me your e-mail and I'll send it to you.

i HAVE one of the 87 Bigfoot rangers. it has the double roll-bar, custom rear bumper, 2.9 V6 and a 5 speed tranny, Roll down rear window, power windows, door locks, tilt wheel, and cruise control on the wheel. best little truck i've ever owned. i put in a 3" body lift,5" truck stacks, 31" Adventuro M/T tires. Also it has a coca-cola bottle opener on the drivers c pillar, and the original shift **** emblem has been replaced with a 50 cent piece. all in all, its a great truck.

I looked at a Bigfoot cruiser F250 the other day from top to bottom and I don't see why people are asking so much for a truck with a cheap rollbar, some lights, and some decals. The truck is nothing special. It's a 1987 F250 BF Cruiser edtion with the 351W and T-18 4-speed/BW1356 T-case with a dana 50 TTb up front and a sterling 10.25 rear. It has 33-12.5-R15 tires. Yes, I said 15 inch rims on a 3/4 ton. Aside from the tires, decalls, and rollbar, it is no different from a regular 1987 F250 and the guy wants $8,000. I know they are rare but come on, I see trucks with the same drivetrain and in the same condition for a quarter of that price. In my opinion they are not worth the money. For that price you could buy a regular F250/F350 of that vintage, put some upgrades into it, and have a truck that is unstoppable off road and for towing. Just my $.02

You just answered your own question. The reason people pay more and ask more for them is because they are rare. Its the same with any limited production vehicle. I will agree though that some of the prices are a little too much.

I don't think that 15 inch wheels will fit on F250 and larger trucks. It won't clear the brake calipers.

On top of a 15" tire is not rated high enough for a 3/4 ton pick up. It would be like running a P rated tire

Regardless of what you think there are 15in. rims on the 3/4 ton truck I looked at. It is possible to do since 15 in. rims fit over a TTB front axles brakes just fine and the drums of a sterling are small enough to fit a 15in. rim over. Plus I just told you I saw with my own eyes what it has on it so why would you say "I don't think that 15 inch wheels will fit on F250". I also know they are rare but that doesn't mean they are worth it. It's no different than a regular F250 functionality wise.

Whether it's rated for the weight or not it fits so people do it. People do a lot of stupid things like all the guys I see running 44" boggers on half ton junk chevy axles and scratching their heads when the shafts and u-joints snap.

this is strait out of a october 1994 issue of off-road magazine

"Ford dealers across the country are now selling street versions of the Bigfoot monster trucks, dubbed Bigfoot "Cruisers." The Cruiser program was developed by Bigfoot and Scherer Truck Equipment of Kansas City. After working for several months with prototype versions, Scherer began uplifting new Ford pickups earlier this year.

Bigfoot Cruiser trucks are offered in F-150, F-250, and Ranger SuperCab models, in 2WD and 4WD versions. All trucks come with Ford's top-of-line XLT trim package and are offered in Ford's Brilliant Blue metallic paint. They also feature Bigfoot custom graphics.

The package being installed by Scherer includes products from a number of Bigfoot's sponsors: Firestone Radial ATX tires; Lund Industries Interceptor hood shield, Moonvisor lighted visor, Racerback cab fairing, and Stepmates cab steps; Trail Master Bigfoot Signature Series shock absorbers; four KC HiLites halogen off-road lights with custom covers; Covercraft tonneau cover with custom imprint; Weld Racing billet-forged aluminum wheels with custom wheel caps; C.R. Laurence electric rear window slider; chromed rear step bumper; and an optional Warn winch and front bumper."

Like i said this is typed exactly from an October 1994 edition of Off-Road magazine.

hope this helps someone

A first-gen Lightning, Nite, or Pace Truck is mostly just an appearance package, yet they routinely sell for far more than a similarly equipped standard truck.
I haven't seen one of those Racerbacks in years- Or a Moonvisor.
FWIW, 15" rims will not fit on the F250 and F350 TTB unless you grind the caliper or have a ridiculous amount of backspacing. The calipers are simply too large for that small of a rim to clear. A standard 16" rim will clear, but you can't put stick on weights on it.

I was at Bigfoot's website and was thinking about the Bigfoot Cruiser, so I yahooed it and found this. A friend"s mom bought the F250 before the recall and it looked awesome. They some how avoided having to take it in for the recall witch was nice. The Rangers were nice but the F250's had the look tell they tool all the good stuff off. It was to bad a couple dumb _ss's ruined it for the rest. The warn front bumper was way more durable then the factory one. They also took off the 33's and nice rims to put sh_tty stock steel wheels on it too. Those were the only things they replaced in the recall. If I remember right the two main Ford dealer ships in Alaska got 6 of the F250 and 4 of the Rangers. As for 15" wheels on a 3/4 or 1 ton there is a company that made a 8 lug 15. Another friend of mine bought some for his F250 so he could buy cheaper tires or some dumb reason like that. But this was back in 88 or 89 when there wasn't much to choose for 16 or 16.5 tires.

It doesn't have to be a P rated tire, it can be an LT tire with a C load rating. I believe thats what the tires on my truck are.
