Great forum.
I'm wondering if anyone could tell me the approximate tare weight of a 63 F700 prime mover - Ive just bought one (sort of) and am trying to decide about transporting it because the old dude isnt working (yet).
Considering it isnt much bigger than my 76 F100 I figured it would probably weigh in at less than 3000KG. The options are on a 3500kg GVM trailer (behind my F100) or to hire a 3ton flatbed truck which I would have to make ramps etc for. Not sure I can afFORD commercial truck carriers.
Also any information about Australian VIN numbering would be appreciated - searched the forum without much luck.

Could you give us the specs in standard measurements instead of metric?

 

Since he said measurements were approximate I'll just give approximate conversions.

2100 = 83"
2340 = 92"
2900 = 114"
3100 = 122"

3000Kg = 6614 lbs.
3500Kg = 7716 lbs.
