New wiring kit

Got to buy a new aftermarket wiring Kit. This kit comes with GM switches. Is there going to be any problems them fitting my 53 dash ? I'm talking holes or mounting. I don't see any real problem, but I've been wrong before. Do they make a 1 wire alternator for the ford ? Any other problems I might run into ? MY first ford rewire.

I don't know if this will help, But I just finished my first rewire on my 53 f-100 . What I did was order a wiring kit from ebay and bought the correct ignition and headlight switch from Midfifty . It took a little time but everything works.

this is what I used (New Ford Truck Wiring Harness 53-56 Street Rod Pickup Universal Wire Kit F100 F1)
Than I used this for the heater and wipers ( Voltage Reducer Regulator 12 VOLTS to 6 VOLTS 20 AMPS ) also from ebay.

Lefty, yes they have one wire alternators for fords, got mine on the web, can't remember where but there's a lot of them. Wiring kit from Rebel Wiring, new ignition and headlight switch from Midfifty. No problems with any of it. Just finished it all and every thing works. Only problem was that I tend to over think things and it slowed me down at times.
