this is my passion. I took delivery of my '96 F250 off the truck from Kansas City in Regina SK Oct. 5 '95. The paint on the original licence plate is starting to crack. Working in Lloydminster last summer, I collected a '97 F350 4 dr, same, same, same, paint interior everything. But it has a battery draw. I installed new batteries, but twice now, being parked for a month kills the batteries. The unit has replacement lights (all, including headlites, the others being LED) Does anyone have an insight to a chronic, or (usual suspect) battery draw?

 

Does it have an aftermarket alarm? A lot of dealers put them in because they get a lot of money for them (markup). While you may not have the remotes, it may still be there. Look for anything zip tied under the dash.

Beyond that, you will need an ammeter and start pulling fuses to find the drain.
