Suspension difference E350 cargo and passenger
Is there a difference in the suspension of E350 whether it's for a cargo or a 15 passenger? I have. 2011 extended E350 and it rides hard. Years ago a had several 15 passenger E350 that we converted to cargo by pulling the seats. They seemed to ride much smoother. The 15 passenger were older style 1999-2006. But not much has changed that I can tell except for the front sway bar setup. I ready for new shocks on my 2011 and would like to get a smoother ride out of it. I run my E rated tires at 65psi. What shocks?

And ive never noticed a difference in ride comfort.
Other than that id suggest adjusting your tire pressure. 65psi seems incorrect. My van calls for 55front and 80rear. Check the sticker in your door jam. It seems you are probably exceeding the front pressure: so lower that. Then adjust the rear from about 50 to 80 and see where you like it.

There can be differences in suspension.. the spring codes and GVWR will show what they are, it wouldn't surprise me if the passenger van is suspended a little more compliant than the cargo van.
Are you driving that thing loaded all the time? I have yet to exceed 50psi in the tires on my van and have run it with only 40psi in them. I have had loads of about 2000lbs in it which it handled fine at 50psi but more often than not it's only carrying 500lbs of tools and such.
I say start dropping tire pressure and go as low as you can until it starts noticably affecting handling.

I had an '88 cargo E-250 that rode like a log wagon unless fully loaded. I have a '92 E-350 15 passenger and it rides alot smoother over bumps loaded or unloaded. It ain't no cadillac though. I can tell a bit of difference in the E-350 when unloaded and I air the tires up to 50+ for hauling kids to camp.
