Dual Zone HVAC

Has anyone experienced the heat output of this generation of Super Duty trucks when the passenger heat is set to 60 degrees? My truck will not heat the cab at all with the passenger temperature setting at 60 degrees and the outdoor air temperature in the low 30s. Once I turn the passenger heat setting up, the driver side heats up as well and works great. This morning I had the driver side heat at 90 degrees and the passenger set at 60 degrees and no heat output at all. Motor was at full operating temperature and been running under load for an hour.

No, but I've never tried that much of a difference either. Not sure why you would want to do that? Or were you just running a test?

Not necessarily a test, my wife cranks the heat up on her side so as a habit I turn her side down when I first get in the truck. This morning I realized the lack of heat when the passenger side is so low. Otherwise the heat works very good, 68-70 feels good while in the low 30s outside.

The control algorithm probably goes schizophrenic when you dial in that much difference. No way is it going to achieve those set points, so it may just turn its back on you....
