I think the soccer mom thing is really overused these days... so pretty much any desirable vehicle that is popular is labeled as soccer mom ride. It’s no secret vehicles nowadays are as much fashion statements as anything else and most no matter what they’re marketed as being for are essentially just an outfit for the driver to wear.

This is the truth. In my area, Jeep Wranglers are often owned by high school girls from well-to-do families. And almost all enthusiast vehicles are used "to be seen in" and not for their capabilities. People do NOT buy Corvettes and Shelby Mustangs to go 200 mph or to do 1g turns in their subdivision or in rush hour traffic. How many Raptors are used for desert racing?

Soccer moms may fill their minivans or SUV's with kids and soccer equipment, but outdoor enthusiasts and sporting people can also fill those same vehicles with camping/fishing gear, bicycles, or other stuff that they need to carry. Real outdoors guys don't have to "pretend" to be outdoors guys by wearing rockclimbing clothes to the mall after parking their lifted Wrangler in the lot.

Soccer mom is one thing and true! But I look at it as cookie cutter!
I hope this Bronco is truly what I have heard. Going after the Jeep Wrangler market! If this is true I agree if it is a soccer mom or just another cookie cutter. It will flop big time. I'm leaning towards ford knows what there doing! Gee I hope!

January 12 is coming pretty quick! And it is a Saturday so don't even have to miss work to watch hopefully for a Bronco unveiling.
