How do you remove the front drive shaft. I need to replace the fuel pump that sits on the rail under the drivers seat. I've losened the bracket that holds the pump. I need to remove the front shaft to be able to drop the pump. I have removed the u-bolt nuts from the front. I can't seem to move the shaft back to remove it.

 

it will take a lil bit of a grunting.. Taje a big screw driver and place it between the ujoint and the pinion yoke and pop the U- joint out. then the shaft will slide right out
