96 Bronco - pedal position for tall guy

I'm 6'5, and I've a 96 Bronco with a 5 speed.. needless to say over time trying to shift while having my knees in the dash even with the seat back is a literal pain in my rear-end. It has a brand new clutch and the grab height of the pedal can occasionally even make steering difficult. The clutch is working 100%, just the ergonomics _really_ suck for me, though all the pedals could go back. Not sure if moving the seat itself would be a good idea or not. Any thoughts, ideas, or tips?

Go to the junkyard and get the sliding base for a seat off a donor Bronco. Modify it to allow the set to go back farther and test it out before transferring you existing seat onto the modified track. This way you don't destroy your good seat and the mounting points on the floor remain the same. I imagine you could could look around the junkyard for another 2 door vehicle that has LOTS of travel in the seat and pick up its base too; then marry the 2 together somehow.
