passenger side exhaust leak

how hard is it to replace the passenger side exhaust studs and gasket? it is on a 2001 f250 5.4 4wd i know for a fact that two studs are broken on the back part of the manifold and it is leaking bad.
i found new stainless steel studs for 15 on amazon is that a good idea?

It can be done...just take your time. I have done the pass side on my 01 twice in 5 yrs. remove the wheel well liner to gain aceess easier. I had 2 that wouldnt come out also. I welded a nut onto the end of the broken stud and it backed out easily. I think the heat from the welding also helped free it up

Also have your exhaust manifold resurfaced or get a new one, if not you will find yourself doing it all over again. Make sure to use copper antiseze when instatilling the new studs/bolts.
