Thanks to a new digital converter I can now pull out some of my old slides and negatives and put them on my computer. Most of these pictures are from the F100 Supernational in Gatlinburg or the Outlaw rod run in Gatlinburg. I may have converted some of them to rhd.........I'm still playing with the converter.
, I can now move some of my old slides and negatives to my computer.
Thanks for posting the pics, put a smile on my face and made me think of my youth. I had a subscription to Truckin magazine in the 80s. Bought my first truck in 82 and used to dream of having a truck with "big n fats" I'm talking tires not girls rears lol
Very cool! I love looking in the background of those old pics and trying to figure out where the shots took place. I also like looking at the "regular" cars in the background. That one pic looks like it was shot in front of the old Shoney's restaurant beside the Riverside Motor Lodge. Both of them are gone now. Gatlinburg has certainly changed. Gotta love those Crager wheels!!!
I cant help but wonder where all of them are today, sitting in a garage, updated and on the road, or in a backyard with cracked Bondo and rusted wheels? Thanks Drew, I always enjoy pictures, and these were no different.

I still have the very first issue of Truckin. Hopefully I'll have some more pics later. It takes a lot of time sorting through them. A lot of them are o/t brand, I've tried to keep it Ford.
Photos taken in Pigeon Forge. Photo date says later than I think it actually was. The purple panel was a personal friend. Panel was built here in middle Tn. and won peoples choice at the show.
