I have a 1992 F150 with the typical buckets and console. Driver seat bottom has typical wear. I had a Dodge and you could unbolt the bottom off the frame very easy from below. I cannot see any bolts holding the bottom on. Anyone have some insight on just removing the seat bottom so I can take it to a place for recover?

 

If I remember correctly, the seats and console actually sit on a large seat pan. You can unbolt the seats from the pan.

 

You need to remove the whole seat from the truck. Then remove the tracks from the seat. Then you need to remove the back from the seat. THEN you can remove the fabric

That's the way I did it when I replaced my lower seat foam.
