What do you have/had for a bike?
Did the Pepsi driver get a ticket?

Good morning BC...and...wandering truck fans. The weekend is just around the bend...something to look forward to!!!
Glad you weren't seriously injured...or...worse Ian!!! Just goes to show...your life can change in an instant!!! Good thoughts for a swift and complete recovery!!!
It's been a rough stretch for you...first pneumonia...now this...and...you're not even 40 yet!!!

Good morning Thong fans far and wide.
Pun intended.
Ken it sure can change in an instant.
I had to drive past there this morning and a chill went down my spine.
I drive/ride that route often several times a day, as it is between my house and base.
Its a hwy with a 90 kmh limit so not a slow speed road either.

I make it a point not to drive small cars or motorcycles as I'm an accident waiting to happen in them. I'm so used to big mirrors that if theres a set of mini mirrors on a truck I wind up with a sore neck and back thanks to all the shoulder checking.
Drive faster so that you can get past the accident before it starts.

Afternoon Perry. I'm so used to the mirrors on my SuperDuty. On the rare occasion we take the wifes '12 Explorer, those tiny mirrors drive me nuts, and you can't see crap out the back of those things.

Good day west coasters and all who lurk here.
Good to hear that the Pepsi driver got 4 tickets, hopefully he`s headed for driver refresher course.

I'll try to push it out first as it is already painted, if the dent looks bad after wards I'll go and do the full repair. Its a tremclad paint job so I'm not too heart broken over it, just want to make sure there's nothing insurance can do about it first. If it was ripped or creased I would dig out a spare door from the parts shed as I still have the cab and parts from the truck that was totaled 2 years ago.

Thanks Pat.
Just saw the Doctor.
Started to wonder if my arm, shoulder and leg were worse than i thought...as in maybe a broken bone.
Shoulder was out oc its socket so was put back in.
Nothing broken and had Xrays to confirm.
Said its going to just hurt a lot for a few weeks.
