Front Shock Strut attachment?

I have a question about the front shock lower attachment bolt. In the picture below is the bolt suppose to come out?. They are a little worn, of course, and I was thinking about replacing them. Thanks!

That stud sure looks good to me. For the amount of trouble to get the old one out and a new one in (if they are even available), I'd punt.

Thanks Ross. The other side is a little worse. Sorry no picture. I will probably leave them like you suggest. I just always have a natural curiosity when I'm working on things to understand how they are put together. I looked on the parts diagram and was unable to find a 55' type Y(F350) shocks, diagram on my CD. If it ever breaks I will cross that bridge when I get to it. Thanks again, Dave

I agree with Ross. It looks fine. You might want to touch up the wrench marks with a file so they don't tear up your shock bushings.
