I towel dry every time I wash and then go over it with some Wizards Mist & Shine detailer spray after I drive it a bit to get all the water blown out of the nooks and crannies.

Actually, unless my truck has noticeable grit on it I use a California Duster and or detailer spray and a micro fiber to clean the truck.

I also have the spot issue. Its terrible. Trucks all black with canopy. Its even on the glass lol. My fault I guess for not controlling the surface with some sort of wax, but by the time I clean the undercarriage (yes I do that. I stupid!) I need to have a Beer and gaze at my truck! Hahaha......

Not so much on the paint but I noticed my windshield has a lot of spots. I've heard Bar Keepers Friend works well for this but it didn't do so well on my wagon. What to do for spots on glass?

I have a well ,and a black truck.
Before I can get the entire truck washed , parts of it are already drying .
I was told to use a 50/50 mix of vinegar and water ...
I tried it , and it works .
Wash and dry as usual , then one panel at a time I spray the mixture on , and wipe with micro fiber towel.
Then I wax it .
A paint sealant works better at keeping the spots away , than wax only.
So I do a sealant once a year , and wax it 2 or 3 times a year .

Rain X will help get rid of spots on the glass now or just prevent future spots?

I was told once to get some of the Jet Dry additive for a dishwasher and add to a bucket of rinse water. I suppose you could use it in a garden hose injector. Have never tried it though. Geez it's hard to clean and dry a SD roof with the box cover on.
