*Honk if you love your 2WD *

I'm so glad my truck is two wheel drive. I know for a lot of folks where they live and what they do they couldn't survive without 4x4 but that's not me. I know my truck is worth less. I don't for a second miss all that extra stuff on a 4x4. I also love the rake my truck has and the killer mpg. And for that one time that I will need four wheel drive and be so glad I have it? Oh well

Honk, Honk.

I looked for a while to get a 2 wheel drive Gas.... F 250...

I learned to drive in ice and snow at 15 in the hills of PA... I do not need 4x4 on pavement.
or the Weight, Cost. Maintenance. but that's me.

besides the "XL" Gas has the highest carry capacity... with tow/camper options.
and camping.. if mud/dirt gets into the cab.. a garden hose will wash it out..

HONK HONK It is winter. Snow is on the ground. My truck hasn't moved in weeks! I live in the snow/SALT belt. I bought it for the sole purpose to tow my wrangler to the trail. I don't like the cold and normally do not off road in the winter. Hence I do not need the truck now. I went to texas to pick up my rust free truck. I wish to keep it rust/SALT free. So all I needed was 2WD even though I heard so many times "Why did you get 2WD? I couldn't get one. You will regret it!" No regrets yet!

08 F250 Scab 2x4 5.4l

Honk Honk!!
I recently spent more than 6 weeks looking for a 2x4 with less than 50,000 miles on it.
Guys would look at me like I grew horns when I told them I did not want 4x4!
When I did find my 08,I actually got a pretty good deal on it.
Had a few 4x4s when I was younger, and the only time I ever really needed 4x4 was when I was mud bogging.

I know there are lots of guys that need 4x4,that's why they make them, but I don't need one.

My 2 WD gas sets in the pole building unless it hooked to the camper or small odd trip. Has electronic locking rear but haven't needed. Stored in the winter. I like the ride.

I had a 2wd 7.3L Excursion. That pig was too heavy to go offroad anyway. I loved the 21+ mpg. I've had my 2wd F-150 since new in 1989 and it never missed a beat either. All the other 4wd trucks I've owned have come and gone, but that little beast is still kickin with me.

Very happy with my purchase because of the price and time I have put into it. Looking into a locker for some additional help in the mud and 4.10 gears soon.
