Plating for Factory Flange Lug Nuts

Has anyone had experience with zinc plating the factory flange type lug nuts? I was hoping to have a weather resistant finish that is silver color. I'm running my 2008 F250 without the chrome plastic caps and have rattle can black paint on the factory alloy wheels. I've put some silver paint on the lug nuts and doesn't hold up too well so far.

Never mind, I found a better solution. Chrome capped factory acorn lug nuts from a 2016 take-off. They seem to work well and look good..

Found the chrome stock lug nuts on eBay. They have the chrome clad capping which I have had fits with on a passenger car however these seem more tightly fitted.
