I have a low mileage early 90's 460 and my son wants to do a project. I have been out of the car building hobby for about 10 yrs now. We were looking at buying a Crown vic at a police auction for a platform. Its cheap and seems like a good foundation, plus it would be sleeper of sorts and different. Searching the net I am not finding much info on a swap lie this. Does anyone have info or a link to share on a build like this? I can weld/fabricate and I know its possible, but would be nice to see one thats done and get an idea of what I am getting into.
