I'm not a mechanic need suggestions

I'm thinking bout putting a new motor in my 02 f150. of course it's a 5.4l triton and just wondering if I can put maybe a stronger motor. I'm not a mechanic and just asking. I know it's going to cost so don't need prices just need to know if it is possible and what motor I can put.

A V10 would be the "easiest" - it's basically a bolt-in if you find a donor truck with the wiring harness and PCM.

There are other options of course, like a Cummins. You COULD put a 7.3 Powerstroke in it, but I'm not sure what changes there are that would have to be made. There are a lot of differences between the diesel and gassers, including the strength of the transmission.

I would either have a performance shop build your current engine, with high compression pistons, cam, etc. Or put a super charger on it. https://www.summitracing.com/search/...4%2B4294819556
