6.4 high miles
hello I just wanted to see if anybody has had good luck with the 6.4. my f250 fx4 6.4 now has 210,000 on it. I bought it used in 2009 it had 10,000 miles on it. now 210,000 I installed a tuner on it about three years ago. and kept up with all maintenance and now I'm getting a little worried about it but I still have had no problems with it and I forgot to mention most of the time I'm pulling a trailer with heavy equipment skid steer or backhoe. I would sure like to know if anybody has had good luck with there's thanks

The fact that you have had it since 10k on the OD and you know have over 200K plus shows that your doing good on the maintenance and watching the temps and what not.
There are three things that kill these trucks: Poor Tuning, Poor Maintenance or Lack of, Bad Diesel/Fuel Contamination
I would just keep rolling along, but start to think about if you are going to keep this truck long term.
If You going to keep it long term , then I would think about doing the deletes to it ( if your area allows it and your not subject to inspections every 5 minutes..lol ) If you can delete, then I would start assembling the funds needed to get a shop to do the work or just the labor and you start assembling the Parts needed for you to do a delete that are required, and then when you feel it is time load up the parts and truck and make an appointment to bring her in and get it done right so you get a long life out of it for down the road.
Nothing wrong with thinking about it rather than waiting till YOU are forced to make a decision because of engine issues.
