Hello all, I have a 2009 f250 crew with the 6.8 v10. I am thinking of getting a larger gas tank for towing mileage. It currently has a 30 gallon tank. Would a gas tank out of a 2011 F250 crew that is 35 gallons fit? Anyone try it?

The larger tank are usually available for long bed trucks only. If you have a short bed, I don't think it will easily fit.

 

5 gallons will do very little at towing... 50 miles max.. more like 30.

my 6.2L averages 9.0 towing ...

my understanding.. no one makes larger Gas tanks ,, only diesel tanks.
