It was a chilly morning to have breakfast with Santa on a farm up in Simsbury. "Hay" ride and all. Hay would have been warmer. Hannah had a great time with all the animals. Breakfast wasn't half bad, and it was indoors.

Yep, I think winter is here. We got about 4" of snow overnight, and yesterday's high was around 13*. We're gonna see -10* next week.

Just got back from driving my wife into Hartford. The temp. was at 32 on the way in and roads were just wet. most drivers doing about 45 mph compared to the 70mph they usually do. No slipping or sliding.

Good morning, John!

After our first snowfall people seemed to be driving much better. Drove to church yesterday morning and averaged about 50-55 MPH on snow-covered roads. The Transit has to be the best-handling 2WD vehicle I've ever had on snow. Makes sense, though...about 8,000 lbs on skinny 235-width tires with fresh tread. Nice thing about being so cold is that it makes for easier driving; it wasn't slushy at all. We'll see 12* today before plunging down to -6* tonight.

We're not gonna make it to the teens on Thursday. Single digit highs from yesterday until Saturday...it was -10* this morning.

Cold will hit us soon. I guess it will be a chilly weekend. Stacking some wood on the porch today to have some extra for the cold weather. It's not the cold that is so bad but the wind that will chill you to the bone.

Good evening everyone!

Looks like some interesting weather is headed your way. The cold weather out here has caused issues with my power locks, so the dealer is now awaiting parts to fix it. Good thing it happened under warranty, it's a 5-hour repair under the TSB. We've got 4-8" of snow tomorrow followed by more cold.

What's the story with the TSB?

Morning all

We had a little more than a dusting this morning and my wife drove her Cadillac to work for the first time with the all wheel drive Caddy. I texted her to see how it went. Response was " Cadillac sucks" . I guess the Caddy isn't like her Jeep Sahara.
We are suppose to get a couple of inches tomorrow, so I will take her out and see how it goes.

My guess is that it's all in the tires, John.

So is it just the power locks that are effected, not the entire latch mechanism? As in, you can still enter the truck, you just can't lock/unlock with the remote?
