December in CT

Can you believe it's December already?

This year has gone bye quickly. still wrenching on the 78. 40% done with the fiberglass transmission cover. $ is tied up through new years. Once that trip is done the truck should be getting completed rapidly.

Good morning John, Jon, and Justin! Amazing how fast this year has gone by.

Morning all

I don't usually decorate for Christmas, but this year Kathy bought one of those light show things that put light patterns on the house. 3 wreathes, so one guess what is on my list of things to do today.

When the Christmas stuff is up I think I'll put the grille cover on the F250 and check the air pressure on all 4 tires, spare and airbag. :oval

Watching the snow game in Green Bay right now. Starting to get cold again here. Looking like a nasty commute tomorrow.

Yes nasty driving out there this morning. Plenty of fender benders. Mostly people that have lead foot syndrome. :-X19

I'm just starting a small fire in the wood stove for ambiance. }>

Stay safe out there today. :-X22

Good morning John. We had a couple inches overnight on Saturday, but the roads got cleaned up relatively fast. Winter driving is much easier out here with less hills and much straighter roads.

Was pleased with how the Transit did in slushy snow yesterday morning. New tires and 560 lbs of sand in the back made for a remarkably stable ride. :-X22

Glad to hear that the tires are working well. I have always noticed that CT road clearing is crap. When I lived in upstate NY the roads were cleared rapidly and done right. (down to the pavement) where as CT clears the road and you end up with a ice skating rink with slush, or they over spray the road with that corrosive stuff and the temp goes over 40.

The weekend is here. A little chill in the air. Monday snow ?

Got my youngest son flying in tomorrow from Tucson, AZ. Going to be here for a week and hates the cold. Mother nature has a sense of humor. }>

Good morning everyone!

Looks like some lousy weather for your son's visit, John. We've gotten cold out here in the last few days, we will probably see -10* next week. Could always be worse I suppose.
