And yet another DieselSite filter question

For those of you who have the DieselSite fuel/water separator on your truck or even those who care to share an opinion.

Considering that the DieselSite filter, filters out smaller trash than that of the OEM filters. And that they are in line ahead of the OEM fuel filter. Do you still change your OEM filters at the recommended intervals or do you run longer between OEM filter changes?

Common sense says that with the filter redundancy the filters at the end of the line should catch very little trash particles and or water.

I would change the factory filters at the recommended interval to ensure warranty coverage.

I still change mine when the dash alert comes up. Mine have always been pristine when changing them though.

I change as well. I'm not sure how long it takes before the paper starts to break down or if it does not?
