Help with axle swap ABS problem
Hey everyone. Recently I swapped my 2wd SRW to DRW using a rear axle and front hubs from a 2008 f350. I used the ABS sensors from the 2000 truck as the connections are different. After about 10-15 mins of driving, the ABS light will come on. I scanned it, and it says all 3 sensors aren't working. I'm not 100% familiar with these ABS system. is there quite a difference between the 1999-2004 and 2005-2010?
Thank you in advance

Is it possible that the reluctors have a different spacing between the teeth than the 2000 model year?
The sensors are also known as proximity sensors. They look for the metal tooth. You could measure the depth from the mounting surface to the top of the tooth and look at the spacing between the teeth. Then compare to the old axles.
Proximity sensors are not all the same range length, width of sensing range or sensitivity. There could be a difference.
