Sitting in a yuppie neighborhood with a working truck. Hybrids, mall crawlers, and upscale sedans seem to be predominant around here.
I forgot to give a BIG THANK YOU to all of my Brothers and Sisters in the Armed Services.
BTW, Today also marks 22 years with my blushing bride. . Our first official date was this evening in 1994, which has turned into a wild and wonderful ride.

Good morning and happy Saturday all, just sitting here listening to the Wednesday Stern show that I missed, going to cook some MEATY beef ribs today and off to a nice dinner at Tresseti's with the wife tonight.
Just bought a Lokar shifter for the swap in the 60, very nice American made product. I try to buy USA made whenever possible. All my guides, hinges, and body stock material are domestic.
On another note, had a hell of a time matching up some baseboard I have to replace.....turned out to be Teak-for baseboard. This is what $2300 worth of Teak looks like, $20 a board foot
Straight lining material

Oof! Dats some 'spensive saw dust!
Road trips are fun, but it is good to be home! The 6.0 ran great and I was able to pass anything that i wanted. The scary part was that I was running 6 over and most EVERYTHING was passing ME! (Except the Model A outside of Vacaville).
Couldn't have asked for a nicer weekend and let the Grandparents spoil my minion and the nieces and nephew.
