I like using my old 3.5 ton skidsteer with an 8 foot hydro turn blade. A good snowstorm is a fun thing to tackle. But with the democrats running everything there is less and less snow due to their GW. I am hoping we can turn this around with a few more elephants in the room.....

I can see that side of life too but winter is not a bad thing to me. Crisp, clean air and the snow creates a beautiful silence across the land. I love it as much as the 90+ days of summer. It is all grand.

I'm looking at either buying a new plow or doing the changeover on the old one which is only two years old. The dealer said he would give me a deal I couldn't refuse if I left that one on my old truck when I traded it.

Mine is 9 years old too but it's stainless, always lives indoors, and is only used for my drive and family. Looks like new so it's getting swapped. Fisher 8.5 XtremeV SS. I'd love a V2 but there's just nothing wrong with mine darn it...
That said, does anyone have pics of their air dam after notching after installation? I was reading on a plow forum I'm on that the 17's look much worse with their air dams notched than previous generations but no one posted a pic...

Wow, my guy always just notches two small areas on each side just wide enough for each side of the mount to go through. Your guy went nuts on that! As to the garage, I have a 5 car so plenty of room for the toys and the plow lol. I put it right inside the middle door in front of our CanAm Spyders in the winter for nice clean mounting. Then in the summer, I reverse it with it behind the Spyders so they can just ride out the door. Anyways, this is how my guy always trims my dams.
