Since it did start that rules a few things out so it's progress anyways

If it was me I'd pull driver battery and get to PCM then unplug all 3 connectors from it and check and clean them and hook it back up

So is it still starting and running

Have you checked battery cables and grounds clean terminals follow ground wires to frame and engine clean and ohm cables

It sounds like it's going to need extensive electrical trouble shoot

You can use the SGII when it won't start to see what it's missing you can also use it while running but you may it see a problem

Do you have the SGII programmed with all the gauges or is SGII still basicly stock

With a problem like this it would be better if it didn't start it's easier to see what's missing/problem this way

Maybe it's loosing cam/crank or FICM sync so make sure to check those when the no start condition is present plus you have a DTC for it could be from extended crank or it's just flakey/bad sensor

Might be worth throwing a new PCM power relay in it

Sound like it looses everything so be worth making sure PCM is getting good solid power

I found this online make sense to me it's gotta be a bad wire between the dist block to the pcm. I swapped out relays already 😡 I'll check the ebp sensor
-Check batteries and connections, voltage should stay above 10 volts during cranking
-The PCM controls the starter, so if PCM voltage drops below 9.5v the PCM shuts off and won’t control the starter.
-If the fan clutch shorts out it will draw the PCM voltage to zero, and thus you will have a no crank situation.
-EBP sensor shorted out will shutdown PCM

Yes that stuff crossed my mind
It could even be a bad ignition switch

You going to need wire diagrams I can't post them now there at home

Also as you ohm wires out make sure they are open to ground unless it's a ground circuit

In this case I would probably start the testing of circuits at the ignition key go from there

If it is a bad sensor or something you should be able unplug the culprit and get dash lights to settle down

Guess v-ref won't matter since we need to see it when it's acting up but the problem is there won't be any communication with SGII at that time

And it might be worth trying a PCM off another truck cause it could be bad PCM

Just for saying, check to see if the guy made a full connection on the starter switch. Can't hurt to look.
