U Joint & Center Support Part Numbers & Replacement

I am trying to determine the correct U joints for my 1994 F150 super cab 2wd 5.0 4R70W. It has a 2 piece driveshaft with a center carrier and 3 U joints. I would prefer Spicer U joints, but will probably settle for Moog if necessary. I see several listed on Summit and other sites, but none seem to specify the location. Does anyone happen to know which ones are correct or know of a website that lists them?

All three of mine were the same. I used Moog from Rock. If I can find a box, I'll list it.

That's good to know all 3 are the same. I thought they might be different.

I'm coming up with either 270 or 254 for Moog, but am still unsure which is correct. As for Spicer, it looks like maybe 5-1330-1X could be right. Does anyone know for sure?

I can't lay hands on the boxes (buried, I guess) , but I believe I used the 345, (no zerk) outside snap rings.

Should be the same from 5.0 to 5.8 super cabs, but its ford so who knows.

If you can pull one, you can get the measurements if you want to order them or take it to the counter.

I'm also thinking it might a good idea to replace the center carrier bearing. Did you do that too?

I'd rather not remove the U joints until I have the correct replacements in hand.

Yeah. Dropped it off at my local drive-line shop since there are more than one incident here about issues others have had changing them.

Bout' 160K+ here:

Make sure you mark clearly all the orientation of all the joints & flanges to avoid balance/phasing issues.

Others say it doesn't matter. I didn't chance it.

I'll definitely mark everything for orientation, good point. What holds the center support carrier in place on the driveshaft?

There's a metal support shell, U shaped that it sits in:

Is the bearing pressed on the shaft?

It looks like I'll need a bearing puller. I saw some videos on YouTube about replacing them on other trucks.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a bearing puller that will work for this job? I saw one in some videos, but do not see it when searching online. Some of the ones I have found do not look like they would work very well.

I'm hoping the Timken HB88107A center support carrier assembly I ordered is the correct one. How much was the cost of having the center support removed and new one reinstalled? I might have to go that route, but don't want to.

There's a lot of things I'll do myself, but the $75 I paid for the bearing, old removal & installation was worth it for me. I'd seen some of the videos of hammering it in, but I really rather have it pressed. I've had zero issues since.
