Instant Mileage Display Froze Up

Hi,

Searched the web and got nothing.

Own a 2011 6.7 diesel, 59K mileage, short bed 4 WD.

Was driving at 70 mph and noticed my instant mileage display read 0. Usually I see a instant mileage reading of at least 16. No regen was in progress. Steady gas throttle. Display could be changed to other screens. After a few minutes it came back. But it jumped to 16 and did not ramp up.

Any ideas?

No ideas about why missing but not uncommon for it to start at a number other than 0 and ramp up like it normally does after a reset after fueling. Generally I have notice this non-zero start happens when you are at speed and reset the MPG screen.

Additional info: I filled up 50 miles prior to this happening.

After I posted the above I noticed that the Instant MPG screen's Average Gas Mileage differed from both of the trip computer mileage values. It appeared that the Instant MPG screen somehow reset itself with no input from me. Is that possible?

Not really enough info to help you out.

The values would be different if you reset the screen, they are three different values stored.
Next time it happens check at the bottom of the screen and see if it is in pause mode.
