1989 F700 No brake lights

I currently don't have any brake lights, but have turn signals, flashers and backup lights. I have been trying to trace down the problem without much luck. Any ideas would be great.

Welcome to FTE.

Get the volt meter out and check for power at the brake switch, and see if the switch is working. Go towards the fuse panel or towards the brake lights depending on what you find.

Looks like no power at the fuse panel.

Keep tracing. Maybe we can get a wiring diagram for you. Stay tuned.

When tracing, look for fusible links or circuit breakers. You may have one or the other, both or none.

The fuse panel should have a pretty substantial wire leading to it.

Also, check the grounding of the panel, and all other grounds as well.

I have a 97 f800 I've been battling for the past week, I have the same exact issue....have you found anything that was helpful yet?
