I bought a set of EGR valves on eBay, thought I could use the one but turns out it's the wrong one for my application (was too busy looking at the price rather than the part). Found some information on the red tag one, looks to be the EGR for 1982 5.0 applications. The blue tag one I'm having trouble matching up all of the numbers on, I can find sections but not the entire sequence. Maybe that doesn't matter I'm just not sure.

Red tag: E2ZE-9D448-J2A I finally found a website indicating it would work on 1982 5.0's at least, don't know if it has any other applications.

Blue tag: E25E-9D448-K1A I'm struggling with. Presumably this is the 351 part that maybe fits the same era 351 engines?

I'm not trying to get rich, just trying to get these into the hands of somebody that could actually use them since I cannot.

 

The E25E number is not a proper Ford number. The third number should be a letter, so probably the prefix should read E2SE.

I think the center three digit number would be a reference number from Ford, perhaps a dealer could look it up.

 

Thanks for the advice. Not having any luck with E2SE either unfortunately but the middle numbers match up, maybe that's good enough. If nobody picks them up from CL then I'll try calling a dealership. Thanks!

 

Might want to tag Numberdummy, by the time he gets through he could probably tell you what day of the week they were made!
