What's involved in installing a factory trailer brake controller on a 2005 f350 6.0L
I just picked up a 2005 f350 6.0 diesle. It's a pretty plain Jane truck but one option I would like is the factory dash mounted trailer brake controller.
What's involved in putting this in?
Is the wiring allready there for it if I pickup a switch from the junkyard ?
Is there more to it then just the Switch?
Would it need to be programmed?
Thanks ya'll

If you look on youtube you'll find a video made by a guy named Bob Sears who installed a factory brake controller on his red F150. I think that under the dash for most of these trucks is pretty much the same. As you'll see the wiring and plug was already there when he removed the dash panel. Looked like a pretty simple deal.
