my 1930 Model AA Tonka Truck
Just acquired this out of North Dakota. Running and kinda driving (tires are shot). grain sides with an aftermarket dump system. 99% complete truck and solid as a rock. Needs some minor panel adjustments, a thorough cleaning and then I'm going to chop it and put late model chrome wheels on it.
Kidding.
Really happy with the find. I will definitely be unique at the car shows!

I love the AA trucks. I have had 3 over the years. I always think I had gotten over them and then another shows up and I am smitten all over again. Tht is a really cool one. I love that hoist, and it WORKS! What a great find and welcome to the group. Keep in mind that when you slam this thing to the ground and put the 24s on it you may need ps, db, ac mustang 2 front clip etc. Don't worry, that stuff is cheap and after all it adds a lot of value to the truck in the end .

GB, glad to see you still have a sense of humor after breathing all those lacquer and spar varnish fumes! Don't forget to recommend a 350/350 combo as well.

I was remiss in not mentioning the powertrain, but you nailed it. That thing is gonna be worth a fortune! Bur seriously folks... There is nothing like hauling grain to give longevity to a truck's bed. That script stake bed looks like it was formed and riveted yesterday. That is a very nice find.

I'll shoot some pics of the inside of the box. It's damn near perfect. Of course the wear strips have a nice patina on them from constantly being polished by corn and then exposed to the weather. It's got a little farm engineering in the roof, someone put sheet metal over it and secured it with 9487 bolts with square nuts.

As far as the AA club, I just got the truck a couple of days ago. I found their website and requested a log in for the forum but haven't gotten anything back yet...
