Ordering two new tanks - Confused...

So I am replacing both fuel tanks on my 1978 f150 reg cab. Looking for info as I cannot look at the truck currently to verify options.

Side tank with or without rollover valve. With or without EEC?

Same for rear tank.

Side tank is 19 gallon, rear is 22 gallon?

Sheesh, do I need rollover valve, or eec

The "rollover" valve is actually the fuel vapor valve, installed next to the fuel sending unit when equipped with Evaporative Emission (Evap/Em).

Vapor line(s) route from valve(s) along the right frame rail to charcoal canister under the hood. 1978/79's have a rectangular plastic canister.

Some people think the abbreviation EEC refers to Evap/Em. It does not. No Ford truck from this era has EEC = Electronic Engine Control aka onboard computer.

Thanks ND. Didn't think EEC was this era however when ordering parts the venerable counter person has to have an answer to this question.
Also, vapor canister is "Part not needed as I live in Alberta and this truck will never see an emissions check. Am I right to think that this line also acts as the filler vent when adding fuel? Wish I would've taken some pictures...of the gas tanks.

****, 22 gallon is the side tank and 19 is the rear...They use different sending units? Man I thought this was just gonna be simple, "just order some tanks." It was easier to swap in my Dana and disc swap the rear...

Evaporative Emission: Unleaded fuel, NON vented fuel cap. The fuel filler tube(s) came with restrictor(s) that would only allow unleaded gas station nozzles to fit in.

Back then, the leaded fuel gas station nozzles were larger in diameter than the unleaded gas station nozzles.

What some people did back then...was, knock out the restrictors so they could use leaded gas, which was cheaper.

The problem was...if the vehicles had catalytic converters, the lead in the gas melted the charcoal inside the converters...pushing it into the mufflers.

It wasn't long before the vehicles sounded like vacuum cleaners headin' on down the road. Eventually, the vehicles died along the road, as the mufflers were plugged up solid.
