Taking families on trips in comfort and safety is one of the various jobs many Super Duty trucks have to perform. That won't be any different for the 2017 models.

If mine arrives before Thanksgiving (I'm not expecting it to, just so I don't remotely get my hopes up), I'll be taking that diesel from San Fran to Whistler, Canada for our yearly 'Snowboarding season is open.. snow is crap, but the bars are open' trip. Truck will be loaded up with 5 peoples winter gear.. The other 4 plus toddler are flying to Seattle, and I'll pick them up there.
No doubt even if it's a gnarly winter, the F350 will make light work of the hills on the west coast.

With my ETA possibly being Oct 19th, the first long trip will be from Spokane Washington to Beaverton Oregon for Thanksgiving. I was hoping I would get mine before Oct 1st so I could take to our Annual Truck Event, Smoke On the Mountain, a convoy to the Observatory of Mt. St. Helens. But looks like the old truck is going one last time

Took it home. 230 mile trip from dealer to front door. Its my first Super Duty and I'm used to a 1/2 ton. I was shocked by the ride. Although a stiffer ride than my half ton.....not by much. Great Stereo, seats are great. Rear cab has tons of room. 15.9mpg @80mph bucking a 10-15MPH headwind. Love everything about it and so will you guys.

Its always hard to be sure, but I think its the quietest out of all of our vehicles. Certainly more quiet than the old GMC. Much more refined interior as well. All buttons are backlit (or all the ones I've found so far), great seats, the sync3 is a great upgrade.....etc.
