Who has used wheel tubs and what size did you go with?

I used the tubs off an F250 bed...I forget the depth but it was around 2-1/2 inches as I recall. Without tubs you can realistically run 10 inch wide tires...add the depth of the tub to calculate how much wider you can go. The leaf springs will ultimately decide how far inward you can go.

Ya I don't think there is any way you can get 10" trms and tire under the fenders without tubs or wider fenders.
I have 10" rims with low profile tired and the total with is still just about 11".
I went with widening the fenders just because I like to challenge myself. Added 1.75" to them. Also because it seems everyone does tubs and or replaces the fenders with fiberglass. And I like to do what is against the norm.

Here is the kind of deals you can find for not much $$$ that work out real well: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...raigslist.html
As for how I installed my tubs, I cut them out of the original F250 bed sides with about a 1 inch flange. I cut my F100 bed to match the tubs and then used 3M 08115 or 08116 structural adhesive to hold them in place. Here is what it looked like from the outside...the gap on the inside was filled with the structural adhesive and is bulletproof.
