Has anyone on this board been delivered a 2017 besides J.A.B.?
We have a lot of members who ordered 2017's. Some ordered back in mid April, others a couple of months back, others even later. So far, it appears J.A.B. is the only one to receive a truck.
The dealers do seem to be having a few 2017's trickle in, depending on where you live. But they are overwhelmingly XL or low spec XLT trucks. J.A.B.'s is the only diesel I have seen.
So, has anyone else taken delivery of a 2017? Thanks again to J.A.B. for letting us know and posting some pictures.

It's clear that Ford changed up their delivery strategy from what they used in 2011. The first couple of vehicles that entered the Salt Lake valley via rail in June 2010 were customer orders. Mine was one of them. It was pretty exciting tracking the rail car all the way to the rail terminal where I went with my dealer and drove it away. We spent a couple of hours at the dealership with everyone oohing and ahhing over the new arrival. Trucks started coming in to various dealerships fast and furious every few days.
This launch is so different it seems like a different manufacturer. All these base models with gas engines seem to have been used as pilots to work out bugs on the line. Now they are hitting the lots and the custom orders are being fit into the assembly schedule at a snail's pace. It's just weird. Clearly this launch has not gone as planned.

There is a 6.7 Diesel F-250 Lariat CC short bed on the lot at Cover Ford in Austin, Texas. I looked at this truck this morning while waiting on some routine service work on my 2011. The sales rep told me it arrived on Friday afternoon. Here is the Window Sticker for the truck: http://www.inventory.ford.com/servic...7W2BTXHEB28356

I'm curious as well. Maybe someone should start a new page or 2017 Orders & Deliveries. Post your order date and delivery date, pic of truck, etc.
