I have another thread going; 2005 6.0 no start, but I'll ask a question here. I removed my IPR and the screen wasn't attached. I don't know if it fell off while removing it or came off on its own. It took me a while to fish it out of the IPR hole in the HPOP. Has anyone heard of this happening? Every video I watch show the screen snapped on the end of the IPO.

 

Actually, it's fairly common and not really a concern. If it snaps back on firmly then don't sweat it. There are replacement screens available also.
