Need help with rear end ID.

Bought a 9" rear from an 80's F150.

The axle ID listing on fordification skips from S314 to S316 so it's no surprise I have a S315a. (I tend to wind up with things that aren't listed.)

Id tag says gear ratio is 2L75. Any idea which locker they would have used with a 2.75 ratio ? Power Lock, Trac Lock etc...

The L on the axle tag stands for limited slip.

You're thinking of actual lockers by the sounds of it. Limited slip is not the same as a locker.

The only available factory traction option in these trucks was the Ford trac-loc clutch pack style limited slip diff.
