2012 Powerstroke Mods

Hey guys, new member here. I just recently got into Diesel Performance even though I've had Diesel Trucks for years for work. I have a 2012 F-250 that I've had some upgrades done to. I went on advice from a friend that owns a performance shop not too far from me. Like I said I'm really new at this so I'm looking for yalls opinions on what other upgrades I should do now. So far I've got, HS Minimaxx, Borg-Warner Turbo, Exhaust, AFE Intake, Fuel Pump from 2015 Model. Thanks in advance.

I would like to be in the 800 HP Range, maybe more. Guess it depends on cost. Not sure what tranny will stand up to.

800 hp is going to be spendy.

New injectors, dual fuelers, likely getting into the bottom end and maybe heads too.

It'll be awesome but not practical to drive and use except on drag strip.

Good luck and post pics!

From what I have read, there are additional small items needed to install the 2015 turbo on the older trucks. Check these two links for what else might be needed. You might also google for the turbo upgrade also.

2015 F350 Turbo ??? - Ford Powerstroke Diesel Forum

Also, some are report that H&S are no long in business. Might want to make sure your tuner company is still around

At 800HP, you will need a built bottom end. Trans will need overhauled also.

Sounds fun. Might want to give Morgan at Midwest Diesel a call. He can set you up with the good stuff.

I've seen and heard a 800+hp 6.4. Kid with too much money built the engine and transmission. It would smoke the tires in 4wd if he punched it going 60mph. If you get that much power you can pull up to the Gibbs shop and talk smack....

Here is my buddies 2012 with an S369 and a Midwest stroker pump. Capable of high 600s to 750hp. This was with great tuning also! Did this last week:

The Briggs and Straton rods were no match for 55-60 psi of boost....

Great photos.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the stuff pictured is the reason you can run 750+ hp in a 6.4 with stock bottom but not a 6.7?

Correct. The bottom end of the 6.4/6.0 is a lot stronger than the 6.7. Thanks to stronger connecting rods and a bed plate, they can be turned up pretty high on factory internals.

That damage looks spendy. The old triangle power, reliability & cost = pick any 2
