what tune do you guys use?
first off, I was wondering if anyone can tell me why I cant get H&S performance's site anymore, and second, I was wondering which tune on my 2011 6.7 would get the best fuel mileage, i was told that leaving it on the performance setting it would give me the best mileage. I did the delete and removed my egr too. I have been getting 13 to 14 on the performance setting, then today i towed my sons 2016 mustang GT to get it tuned (he put a twin turbos on it) and I got 16 miles to the gallon on my three hour trip on the tow setting, better than i get empty, got me scratching my head

We shall call it the Carbuncle Tune. Less pressure/pain on the foot equates to less pressure/pain on the wallet.

I run the canned H&S tunes always on performance power level, except when towing. Low boost fueling set to #2.
I've found over the years that mpg can vary greatly depending on how and where one drives. The biggest mpg killer is stop lights, stop and go driving.
My mpg can be anywhere from 13-23mpg.
These Ford 6.7, 409ci engines are large big thirsty cylinders. Sitting there at a light just at idle sucks up the fuel big time no matter what level your tuner is set too.
Did a 200 mile trip last week on a semi-divided hyw with just a couple stop lights. Reset the mpg display at the start of my trip. Kept the speed down to 53-55mph on the cruise control. used the resume feature whenever possible. Never put my foot into it even once, as hard as that was...
Got 22.3 mpg.
Driving around town in heavy traffic I'm usually at 14.5-16.5. The less traffic and stop lights, the better mpg I get. And it is a very big difference/variation. Driving conditions make more of a difference/variation in mpg than a gasser with a small displacement engine.
