Trucks Held at KTP

Do we know why trucks are not being shipped?
Is it the wiring harness?
Adaptive steering?
ECU flash?

Now there is not even an ETA for most trucks.
Are only platinums affected?

If it's the harness did they not know it was needed. I have been part of new car launches before but have never seen this much uncertainty. Even dealers and Ford reps have no idea what's going on.

Someone talked about the camera and harness in another thread on here. Looks like both should be delivered Thursday.

I don't think its that bad. Someone on this board actually took delivery of their truck last night. Plenty of trucks still have an ETA, including mine (9/4).

It appears the ultimate camera harness was out of stock, but will be coming in Thursday and the plant will be pushing extra hard to try and catch up. I don't think any trucks are being held for "issues."

It's the frame and there could be a recall from what I've read on ktp . They may take back trucks on dealer lots

Post a link to the KTP thread you're reading for the rest of us. The only one I see says nothing about the line being down. Just something about "jacked up frames."

The post includes the words "stop production" so that's probably where it comes from. Problem with that one and only post though is that it also includes accusations of vendor reps taking pills. Not sure what language they speak in Kentucky but that is pretty hard to decipher.

Here is the link

It could be this guy is just complaining about holes not lining up and slowing the line down. There is not enough info to conclude anything by this statement:

"Not a surprise! Maybe if the vendor reps would get off the pills & not leave the plant on last break, the frames wouldn't have issues that stop production."

This is the only post in the thread. Could previous posts have been removed? It reads like he is responding to a previous post.

That's the one I saw earlier today and I'm not sure I'm worried about it based on how it's written....

Trouble is that when the public (i.e. us) picks up on these posts and then start losing their minds it's more likely that some KTP manager will notice and send out a reminder to all employees to not post insider info on social sites. We lose a decent source of information.
