86 F-350 with 351w carburetor stalls off idle
We have replaced the distributor advance wasnt working checked carb float levels cured all vacuum leaks checked all plugs and wires spark seems cold tried another coil old coil had condenser truck as ran without one since ive had it. Is it possible that has damaged my module? What steps do i need to try from here? Or any advice? Greatly appreciated

Can you rev it up slowly? If yes, turn the engine off, pull the aircleaner, and look down the carb throat while you push the throttle open. You should see two strong streams of gas squirt down into the engine with no hesitation. As soon as you start moving the throttle it should start squirting.
If there is any delay or the streams are weak, that is more than likely your problem. You will have to investigate the accelerator pump circuit of the carb.

You also did not say what you set the timing to after you fixed the vac advance.

My first guess also. Timing at 10 btdc. Engine labors against itself wont rev above 2000 and seems to have weak spark also have blocked egr temporarly. Will re check accelerator pump. Established fuel pressure seems ok. Have tp40 module. Dont no how to verify good or not. This is daily work need it asap. Thanks so much for advice. I will reply asap

Did this start out of the blue or some thing that has been going on for some time and either gotten worst or just now looking into?
You keep saying "weak spark" what makes you say that?
When you test for spark what color is it and does it snap or crack or no noise at all?
Guess it could be the IGN box/brain/module? What is a tp40 module? Is that the same thing I just said it could be?
Guess it could also be a coil?

Normally if the module goes bad or going bad the motor just shuts off after running a bit. It heats up, no spark and motor shuts down. It will then cool off and you can start it up and run till it heats up again.
Guess it could idle and when you give it more gas, needing more spark it stalls?
I don't thing they are a lot of money so may want to pick one up and swap it out. It no change you have a spare.
I wonder if you have a plugged exh system? It will let the exh gasses out at idle but not anything above it pass thru?
It would or could keep getting worst overtime unlike a module.
One way to test is drop the exh pipe before the cat and take for a test drive.

Disconnect and plug the vacuum to the dist. and test if better?
I am starting to run out of things it could be.
When was the last time the plugs, wires, cap & rotor changed out?
More on the plugs as I have seen good looking and not vary old plugs go badand act like a valve hanging open as the RPM went up off idle.
