Just talked to Bruce on Chat. He gave me an ETA of 10/23. So progress is as follows:
Ordered 8/20
Ford recognized in system as "Processing" on 8/23
VIN on 9/15
Spoke to dealer on 9/16 and they gave me build week of 10/10
Chat gave ETA of 10/23 on 9/27
F350 4x4 CC/SB
Shadow Black
Lariat Ultimate
Lots of other goodies
Ordered 8/20

Thanks but 10 weeks away by today's update does not seem soon after 6 months. Anyway I didn't really want to expose the paint to direct sunlight. Salt and snow are so much more fun for a new truck. The buyer of my '01 might have to wait until spring before I transfer to him. I really enjoy spending 70K to have it parked in the shop for 4 months.

Rocket...I'm in the exact same boat as you...ordered 4/20....build date was supposed to be 9/26 with ETA to dealer 10/12 - 10/14 or close to it. Silver F250 CCSB Platinum. Look at it this way...maybe some kinks will be worked out and yours will have the correct GAWR stickers!!!

I think there are still a few of us out here that ordered early and still waiting. I ordered 5-11 and have vin and was told week of 09-26. I look at etis everyday and just shake my head and read about someone else that ordered in August and gets it in Sept. I'm patient but Ford needs to revisit their ordering process

Have you checked with your dealer? That's who gave me all my information. I have no idea of how to reach chat but so far the dealer has been more helpful than COTUS/ETIS which shows basically nothing on my VIN (76553).

I wish we could figure out why it is that some of us early orders are coming so much later than some more recent orders. Do you mind if I ask what region of the country the dealer you are ordering from is? Mine is in Tennessee. I'm going to travel a long way to get it, but I've got family in the area (one works at the dealer) so it's an excuse to get together.

San Antonio, Texas. My dad and I ordered two trucks...same day. Both on 4/20. His shows a 9/19 build date and mine 9/26. They were entered into the computer one right after the other. They were done as Retail....knowing if would probably be a few months. But if we do get them as stated on Oct 12th (that's what our salesman told us) it will have been almost 6 months to the week that we ordered.
